This is a homage to the band T-shirts of "FUGAZI," a hardcore punk band active from the late 80s to the 90s. As a non-profit band, FUGAZI rarely sold merchandise at their live shows. There's an anecdote that when asked for a FUGAZI T-shirt, frontman Ian MacKaye said, "If you want a FUGAZI T-shirt, draw it yourself."
