When designer Ryuhei Oomaru was walking around New York, he noticed an awning material that is often used as a canopy for storefronts.
Graphical prints in various typefaces also symbolize the city's diversity.
How about wearing this material that is strong against rain and wind as a coat? The idea led to the launch of the brand.
After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, Daimaru built a career at a maison participating in the Paris Collection, and since moving to the United States in 2006, he has worked as a creative consultant and pattern maker for top New York designers and brands.
Since the establishment of oomaru seisakusho 2 in 2008, he has worked on over 20,000 patterns for a total of 100 brands, including Alexander Wang, Thom Browne, Prabal Gurung, and Jason Wu. .
While thinking about the future of clothing every day, this OVERCOAT was announced in the autumn / winter of 2015.

The materials are jointly developed with manufacturers that boast the world's highest quality, and we are constantly trying to update them by reprinting materials that were once used for uniforms and military uniforms, applying unique post-processing.
Derived from coats, the collection now has jackets, pants, shirts, scarves, etc., and has a presence with a total look.
However, every item aims at an approach that sets it apart from conventional fashion brands.

The method of logically pursuing a design while excluding emotional romanticism may be closer to that of an architect or mathematician than that of a designer.
