Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. The ethnic sensibilities cultivated during her childhood spent largely in Taiwan, and her move to Los Angeles during adolescence, strongly influenced her toward modernism and vintage styles.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates jewelry with uncompromising craftsmanship alongside Japanese jewelry artisans.
