Uses terry fabric woven on a new high-performance knitting machine, the exact opposite of loopwheeled fabric.
The new machine, which allows for more detailed adjustments, has created a light and smooth material with a substantial feel.
It is usually not possible to use such fine yarn on the surface relative to the thickness of the back yarn, and this material is a skill that can only be achieved by using a knitting machine, of which there is only one in Wakayama.
These pants are one expression of the desire to wear this progressive fabric, which at first glance appears ordinary but is in fact progressive, and this fluffy yet smooth material every day.
While wide, they have a beautiful silhouette when worn. The drawstring at the waist has holes on both the outside and inside, allowing the drawstring to be pulled out from either side.
Theembroidery with "Pt" is a characteristic of this series.

For 10 years, I continued to create clothes while contemplating the way women live in Tokyo and Paris, and PHOTOCOPIEU is the answer.
Identity is a quiet revolution.
While not consciously feminist, I have felt stress about the challenges working women face in balancing work and family, and the structure of society, and wondered if there might be a more comfortable way to live.
PHOTOCOPIEU's clothing encapsulates all the experiences of my 10 years in both work and private life.
I have used my creative power, cultivated over time, to make daily life more comfortable, rather than for momentary occasions like shows or photographs.
By blending into daily life, you can discover a new you.
PHOTOCOPIEU's clothing, which combines feminine silhouettes with a strong presence, was born from a shared empathy for the supple and strong attitudes of women encountered in Paris.
While overtly decorative elements are boldly removed, the switched lines created by the warmth of human hands,
And organic forms that hint at the female body, evoke strong emotions in both the wearer and the observer.
Everyday wear that blends into daily life yet has an impressive silhouette and pursues comfort,

DESIGNER
Misa Takeuchi
After gaining 4 years of experience as a corporate designer in Tokyo, she moved to France after winning the Kobe Fashion Contest and studied at the Paris Syndicale.
After graduating, she gained experience at ISABEL MARANT and VERONIQUE LEROY, and returned to Japan in 2018.
In Autumn/Winter 2019, she established her own brand, PHOTOCOPIEU.
