A minimalist square-shoulder jacket.
The fabric used is a plain weave mohair wool woven in Bishu.
The natural gaps between the thick threads create a mesh-like transparency within the solid fabric. The crispness and elasticity unique to mohair blend give the pared-down form a sculptural quality. In addition to shoulder pads and chest wadding, extra interlining is also placed in the shoulders. This supports the large shoulder structure beneath the minimalist exterior. The collar, which sits close to the neck, emphasizes suppleness in contrast to the shoulders.

PHOTOCOPIEU's clothing was born from an empathy for the posture of the supple and strong women encountered in Paris, coexisting feminine silhouettes with a strong presence.
While cleanly removing superficial decorations, the switching lines created by the warmth of human hands, and the organic forms where the female body can be glimpsed, ignite emotion in both the wearer and the beholder.
Everyday wear, pursuing comfort while dissolving into daily life yet maintaining an impressive silhouette, will gradually become an essential tool for life, embodying the wearer's individuality.

DESIGNER
Misa Takeuchi
After four years of experience as a corporate designer in Tokyo, she moved to France after winning the Kobe Fashion Contest.
She graduated from Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and gained design experience at Isabel Marant and Veronique Leroy before establishing her own brand, PHOTOCOPIEU, in Autumn/Winter 2019.
