PHOTOCOPIEU "SHEER ANORAK DRESS / GRISELDA / SAX"

Regular price $637.00

An anorak dress made of cotton silk organdy.
Following the shape of a Euro vintage anorak, the gimmick of finishing it into a dress with a sheer material makes for a unique design.
The voluminous balloon sleeves and circular skirt create a striking finish.
The detail of passing a cord through the waist is intentionally left without a cord, creating a rough impression, and a transparent silicone logo is placed on the chest.
The cotton silk material is a pre-dyed chambray fabric with white silk for the warp and colored cotton for the weft.
Its light thinness and the depth created by the luster characteristic of silk chambray are beautiful.

ABOUT
PHOTOCOPIEU is the culmination of 10 years spent creating clothes while contemplating the lives of women in Tokyo and Paris.
Its identity is a quiet revolution.
While not a feminist, I have felt stress about the work-life balance and societal structures that hinder the women around me, and have considered if there might be a more comfortable way to live.
PHOTOCOPIEU's clothing embodies all of my 10 years of professional and personal experiences.
I have utilized my creative power, honed over time, to enhance daily life rather than just for fleeting moments like shows or photos.
By blending into daily life, one can discover a new self.

PHOTOCOPIEU's garments were born from an empathy for the graceful and strong women encountered in Paris, coexisting feminine silhouettes with a strong presence.
While explicitly stripping away superficial adornments, the cutting lines crafted by hand, and the organic forms that subtly reveal the female body, ignite emotion in both the wearer and the observer.
Everyday wear, which blends into daily life yet features striking silhouettes and a pursuit of comfort,
will gradually become an essential tool for living, embodying the wearer's individuality.
