PHOTOCOPIEU "FLIGHT JACKET / FREDERICA / BLACK"

Regular price $481.00

A flight jacket made from original damask jacquard.
The 18th-century antique fabric design encountered in the 18th arrondissement of Paris was reinterpreted with a modern material composition.
Rayon, which did not exist at the time, was used for the warp, and cotton for the weft, creating a medium-weight fabric woven in Kiryu where satin luster and matte texture intersect.
The structure of an MA-1 is condensed into a sleek, compact silhouette, inheriting details such as ribs and inner pockets. RACCAGNI zippers and original dot buttons with engraved logos are used. This garment is constructed with meticulous attention to the texture of the metal.

ABOUT
PHOTOCOPIEU is the answer to 10 years of creating clothes while considering women's way of life in Tokyo and Paris.
Identity is a quiet revolution.
While not a feminist, I felt stressed by the challenges of balancing work and family, and the structure of society that impedes women close to me, and I pondered if there wasn't a more comfortable way to live.
PHOTOCOPIEU's apparel embodies all the experiences of my 10 years of work and private life.
I used my creative power, honed over time, not for fleeting moments like shows or photographs, but to make daily life more comfortable.
It blends into daily life while helping you discover a new self.

PHOTOCOPIEU's apparel, which combines feminine silhouettes and strong presences, was born from an empathy for the resilient and strong women encountered in Paris.
While boldly stripping away superficial adornments, the brand incorporates hand-crafted cut lines,
and organic forms that subtly reveal the female body, igniting emotion in both wearer and observer.
Everyday wear, with its impressive silhouette that blends into daily life and its pursuit of comfort,
will gradually become an essential tool for living, embodying the wearer's individuality.
