YAMAUCHI "WOOL URBAN GRID DOUBLE STITCH SHIRT for LOCALERS / URBAN BROWN"
Since only short-sleeved shirts in this fabric were available inline, we specially commissioned a long-sleeved shirt with pockets as a LOCALERS Exclusive. While it's a wool shirt, we hope you'll wear it a bit roughly, in a good way, and feel free to wash and nurture it. Despite that, true to Yamauchi's clothing, it features superb fabric and sewing techniques that can withstand aging. Yamauchi-san, thank you as always.

ーProduct Descriptionー (From Yamauchi HP)
Compared to other Yamauchi shirts, this shirt has a slightly larger stand collar and a slightly larger body design, giving it a more casual impression. However, unlike other shirts, the #30 stitching is a design highlight, with my preferred edge + 4mm double stitching applied throughout. A characteristic of Yamauchi is that even when using casual designs and materials, by carefully tailoring them in a way that is distinctly Yamauchi, the result is a unique piece, even if it's subtly so.
ーFabric Descriptionー
Non-mulesing wool, urban grid (Bishu production area)
A high-density woven wool fabric using fine SP100'S 2/72 yarn, with slub yarn to create a grid pattern. The checkered pattern created by the raised and lowered threads is very elegant, and the addition of pour dyeing further enhances the textile's atmosphere.
Wool materials used by Yamauchi
All wool used by Yamauchi is non-mulesing wool.
We only use wool proven to be from sheep that have not undergone mulesing, and we refer to the woven wool fabrics made from it as non-mulesing wool.
※Mulesing...The practice of removing skin and flesh from the buttocks of lambs to prevent insect infestation.
---Processing Description---
Urban dyeing (Aichi Prefecture)
A natural pour dyeing process for wool materials carried out in the Bishu production area.
Depending on the color, timing, and quantity of the dyes poured, the mixed areas change into unique shades, resulting in a one-of-a-kind fabric roll.
Since it's impossible to predict which parts of the fabric roll will have what colors, the items cut and assembled from that fabric also become one-of-a-kind garments.
