Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. Her childhood in Taiwan cultivated an ethnic sensibility, and her move to Los Angeles during adolescence strongly influenced her understanding of modernism and vintage aesthetics.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates uncompromising jewelry with Japanese jewelry artisans.
