【NOVESTA】
In 1939, NOVESTA was quietly born in Partizánske, a small town in former Czechoslovakia, within the historic industrial area of BATA Industrial Park.
This shoe factory, specializing in rubber and canvas products, has consistently produced purely Slovakian footwear since its founding, including military, work, rubber boots, and running shoes, through the historical currents of World War II, the post-war Cold War, the socialist era, and the dissolution of the state.
In 1992, one year before Czechoslovakia split, after half a century since its establishment, the factory gained renown as a leading factory in Europe and launched NOVESTA, a pure Slovakian sneaker brand. Since then, NOVESTA has continued to grow as an original brand, collaborating with various international brands on diverse projects worldwide.
NOVESTA continues to create handmade sneakers that retain European delicacy and the rustic texture of Eastern Europe.
