INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS

INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS is one of the few tailor-made shirt manufacturers born in America that continues to preserve the shirt-making traditions of a bygone era.
It was founded in 1961 by Mr. John Laresca.

The 1960s in America was a time when individuals (individualized) stood up and made their voices heard against the nation, starting with the Civil Rights Movement and student protests, followed by the women's movement and the anti-Vietnam War movement.
Everything in America was brimming with energy, moving towards a new future.
In 1961, the young politician J.F. Kennedy was inaugurated as the 35th President of the United States, and in the same year, Barack Obama, who would later become the first black president, was born in a hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. In a port town in New Jersey, a small custom-made shirt specialty manufacturer opened its doors. That was "INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS."

The history of menswear in America began with tailors, immigrants from Europe, making clothes, and later, with Brooks Brothers, it shifted to an era of mass-produced ready-to-wear.
The shirts made by tailors, largely forgotten by history...
The shirts with the best comfort, tailored for each individual...
The origin of Individualized Shirts was to provide authentic tailor-made shirts using mass production techniques.

And to this day, for over 50 years, they have upheld the pride in their name (Individualized Shirts = a shirt that exists for one person only) and the traditional American classic shirt-making, providing shirts to many celebrities, including past presidents, as the top share holder in tailored custom shirts in the United States.
