Klättermusen "Algir Sack Pack / Dark Teal"
The Algir series knapsack model supports various uses. It can be carried on the back with shoulder straps connected to a drawstring. It has a mesh pocket on the outside for quick access to items, and a grab loop at the opening for quick access to belongings. The red aluminum quick-attach toggle makes it easy to connect to backpacks with loop webbing, increasing the storage capacity of trekking packs.
For trekking and hiking, it can be used as an external attachment for a backpack and as an attack sack when leaving the main pack at a base camp. It can also be used as a hot spring bag to carry a change of clothes when stopping by a hot spring after descending from a mountain.
In 2009, Klättermusen was the first outdoor company to use recycled polyamide in all its backpack products. Klättermusen backpacks are 100% recycled products made from fishing nets (used aquaculture nets and ghost fishing nets), fluff (used nylon carpet tops), plastic industrial waste, and yarn and fabric scraps.

The idea behind Retina® 70 denier ripstop was to create a lightweight fabric that could be used for the lightest packs and bags. The main focus was to make it as light as possible while ensuring sufficient durability for Klättermusen fabrics, and ripstop was adopted to achieve this. The front of the fabric has a Skyrill coating (surface coating) to give the surface water repellency. The coating allows the water-repellent function to remain on the fabric for longer. Also, due to the emphasis on lightness, the back has a PU2 coating to achieve 300mm water resistance. The material used is 70 denier Econyl® fabric. Econyl® is a recycled yarn made from 50% post-consumer recycled polyamide and 50% pre-consumer recycled polyamide.
Polyamide (nylon) is a synthetic fiber made from petroleum that produces a very strong and versatile fabric. Klättermusen uses recycled polyamide from industrial waste and consumers. Post-consumer waste is the primary choice for us who want to encourage the recycling of used products. Post-consumer waste used for recycled polyamide includes discarded industrial fishing nets, old carpets, and hard fibers. While recycling polyamide makes the production process more complex, it results in a reliable, long-lasting material that is lightweight, quick-drying, and wind-resistant, utilizing what would otherwise be waste while saving energy and resources. In 2009, Klättermusen was the first outdoor company to adopt recycled polyamide for all its backpack products.
