Klättermusen "Algir Sack Pack / Cloud Berry"

Regular price $84.00

The Algir series knapsack model supports various uses. It can be carried on your back with shoulder straps connected to a drawstring. It has a mesh pocket on the outside for quick access to items. The opening has a grab loop for quick access to your belongings. The red aluminum quick-attach toggles easily connect to backpacks with loop webbing, allowing you to increase the storage of your trekking pack.

For trekking and hiking, it can be used both as an external attachment for your backpack and as an attack sack when you leave your main pack behind. After descending, it can also serve as a hot spring bag for carrying a change of clothes when stopping at a hot spring.

In 2009, Klättermusen was the first outdoor company to use recycled polyamide in all its backpack products. Klättermusen backpacks are 100% recycled products made from fishing nets (used aquaculture nets and ghost fishing nets), fluff (used nylon carpet tops), plastic industrial waste, and yarn and fabric scraps.

Retina®, Econyl® 70D】
50% Post-Consumer Recycled Polyamide, 50% Pre-Consumer Recycled Polyamide, 70D, 78g/m², PU Coating, bluesign® Approved Fabric, GRS - Global Recycled Standard, Fluorocarbon free

The idea behind Retina® 70 denier ripstop was to create a lightweight fabric that could be used for the lightest packs and bags. The main focus was to make it as light as possible while ensuring sufficient durability for a Klättermusen fabric, and ripstop was adopted to achieve this. The front of the fabric has a Skylling coating (surface coating) to provide water repellency on the surface. Coating helps the water-repellent function remain on the fabric longer. Also, prioritizing lightness, the back has a PU2 coating, achieving a water resistance of 300mm. The material used is 70 denier ECONYL® fabric. ECONYL® is a recycled yarn made from 50% post-consumer recycled and 50% pre-consumer recycled polyamide.

Polyamide (nylon) is a synthetic fiber made from petroleum, producing extremely strong and versatile fabrics. Klättermusen uses recycled polyamide from industrial and post-consumer waste. Post-consumer waste is our first choice, as we want to encourage recycling of used products. Post-consumer waste used in recycled polyamide includes discarded industrial fishing nets, old carpets, and hard fibers. While recycling polyamide makes the production process more complex, the result is a reliable, long-lasting material that is lightweight, quick-drying, and wind-resistant, utilizing waste while saving energy and resources. In 2009, Klättermusen was the first outdoor company to use recycled polyamide in all its backpack products.
