Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, he grew up surrounded by nature.
During his childhood he spent a lot of time in Taiwan, where he developed a sense of national identity.
Having moved to Los Angeles as an adolescent, he is strongly influenced by modernism and vintage styles.
Founded R.ALAGAN in 2016.
We create uncompromising jewelry in collaboration with Japanese jewelry artisans.
