Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. She spent much of her childhood in Taiwan, developing an ethnic sensibility, and later moved to Los Angeles during adolescence, where she was strongly influenced by modernism and vintage styles.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates jewelry with uncompromising quality in collaboration with Japanese jewelry artisans.
