TENDER Co. has its roots in workwear from the steam locomotive era in England. A tender is a truck filled with lime and water on a steam locomotive, and is the vehicle that connects the locomotive and the car. TENDER Co. clothing is as durable and hard-wearing as the tender itself. Designer William Kroll originally worked as a designer at EUROEVISU, the European division of Evisu Jeans, and also studied tailoring techniques at Savile Row in England, known for its suits. To master denim, he also studied denim production in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. And now he is a denim instructor at St. Martin's School of Art and Design in England.
