PHOTOCOPIEU "CAPE-SLEEVE SHIRT DRESS (HALVARI)"

Regular price ¥97,900

A silk georgette dress that sways like an aura.
When this dress hangs on a hanger, the body is so slim that it is hard to imagine how it would feel to wear (although it is cute in its own way), but when you put it on, you feel as if you are being gently wrapped up in something very precious.
The fabric has a delicate, light feel with a sheer texture, yet drapes beautifully to follow the lines of the body as you move. This is because the fabric is heavier than it looks.
When woven, the silk looks like organza, but this satin fabric has been given a suede finish to reduce the shine and give it a soft, thin finish.

Wanting to make the most of this fabric, created through the skills of the fabric maker, weaver and processor, we attempted to make the toile six times, and the original organic dress, which made extensive use of designs, was transformed into this minimalist form.
The front is decorated with shell buttons that give a watery feel.

ABOUT
I was inspired by the resilient and strong women I met in Paris.
Photocopiu's clothing was born, combining a feminine silhouette with a strong presence.
While the surface decoration is cleanly removed, the lines of change are made with the warmth of the hand.
The organic forms, with glimpses of the female body, evoke passionate emotions in both the wearer and the viewer.
A striking silhouette that blends into your everyday life.
Everyday clothing that is designed to be comfortable will gradually become a necessary tool for a lifestyle that embodies a person's individuality.
