These pants were created after an encounter with some vintage children's pants in England.
It has a patterned hem and an elastic waist for a casual look.
It was through these clothes, crammed with buttons, that I learned about British culture.
The design was inspired by "Pearly King, Pearly Queen," the uniform of a British charity organization which is said to have started when a road sweeper found shell buttons and attached them to his clothes to raise funds for children in orphanages and hospitals.
The patterns are made one by one using shell buttons.
