Made from durable workwear cotton originally used for horse rugs.
The ends of quilted fabric, which would normally be discarded, were used as patchwork.
Patchwork quilting has been used since ancient times as a way to use fabric scraps and turn them into something beautiful and functional without wasting any waste.
This season's patchwork capsule collection is inspired by this technique.

Lavenham was founded in 1969 in a small, beautiful village in Suffolk, northeast of London.
In the same year, the Horse Blanket was introduced. In 1972, he introduced Lavenham's signature diamond quilted jacket.
Lavenham's signature diamond quilt features criss-crossing diamond-shaped corners and uses a stretchy nylon upper thread and fluffed polyester lower thread to prevent fraying and increase durability.
All products are manufactured at our own factory in Sudbury, Suffolk.
The fabrics, studs, webbing, etc. are carefully selected and each item is carefully made, making them practical and durable.
