This medium-sized scarf features an impressive OPTICAL BATIK pattern, made from the season's particularly striking thin habutai silk material.
The medium size is a bandana size, 55cm square.
We use thin habutai silk to make it easy to wear in summer.
During a trip to Holland, I encountered Riso Print wrapping paper at a bookshop called PRINT ROOM in Rotterdam.
This wrapping paper was created in collaboration with Berlin-based artist Sophie Duala.
Her unique pattern, rooted in Africa and raised in Paris, looks like both African batik and optical art.
This season, CURRENTAGE has transformed this pattern into fabric, creating a three-company collaboration series incorporated into clothing.
This season's theme is "Happiness of living." Colors like light that illuminates everything brightly, burgundy reminiscent of the earth, and colors and patterns that evoke nature with blues and greens are key items this season.
