Growing up in Indonesia, designer Christine was surrounded by a myriad of colors and patterns and was inspired by her desire to incorporate tribal artwork into the modern home.

Christine was inspired by the small coastal villages of Indonesia and travelled extensively across her native country to collect the work of local artisans, uncovering her unique aesthetic and style.

The traditional Indonesian batik techniques of dip dye and hand painting are performed by skilled Balinese artisans using natural fabrics such as bamboo and organic cotton, and are a very delicate process that takes about three weeks to complete.
Embroidery and knitwear are also produced by hand in small-scale environments, conveying the grace and skill of tradition.
