Founded in 1964 in the British Isles of Guernsey, this manufacturer continues to make only traditional guernsey sweaters that have been passed down for generations. The Isles of Guernsey are one of the Channel Islands located exactly in the middle of France and the UK, and the sweater that was born there, "Le Tricoture", has a French name despite being British.
