【QBISM】
A unique fashion vision rooted in the tradition of craftsmanship and the innovation of upcycling.

Established in Paris, France in 2013, QBISM is a brand by designer Quentin Nghiem. Its name fuses the initial "Q" with the art movement "Cubisme," reflecting a philosophy of fragmented beauty and reconstructed identity.

With over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Quentin's journey has been marked by craftsmanship, innovation, and a deep respect for materials. After graduating from the haute couture department in Paris in 1994, he gained diverse experience, including working at HERMÈS' tailoring atelier, serving as atelier chief and pattern assistant for Jean Colonna, and contributing to the concept of Comme des Garçons' fragrance packaging at Christian Astuguevieille. He later participated in collection design for MUJI Europe and produced runway pieces for Louis Vuitton Homme. What most distinguished his career, however, was his experience from 2005 to 2007 with Maison Martin Margiela's Artisanal "0-10" men's line, which was during the final period of founder Martin's direct involvement.

Pouring this rich heritage into QBISM, the brand embodies his unique codes: hybridization, deconstruction, trompe l'oeil, patchwork, material fusion, and creative reuse. Each collection is crafted with small-batch production and artisanal precision, promoting upcycling and the reinterpretation of vintage items. The scope of reconstruction is wide-ranging, encompassing denim, sportswear, bomber jackets, workwear, and military items.

QBISM is not just a brand; it's a manifesto. While new challenges arise each season, Quentin's approach emphasizes "evolution" over "reinvention." He refines past ideas, pushes concepts further, and creates timeless pieces that remain fresh and relevant across generations.
