A summer-ready denim fabric co-developed with China's top narrow loom craftsmen. The warp is made from linen threads dyed with natural indigo, and the weft uses a blend of linen and cotton, resulting in a fabric with rich color, a luxurious texture, and excellent breathability. After sewing, the fabric undergoes a post-dyeing process with sulfur dye, creating a deep, gradient color that shifts from charcoal to indigo.

The design features trousers with a slim silhouette that emphasizes vertical lines. While the hip area fits snugly to the body, the legs have a moderately relaxed, straight form towards the hem, making them appear beautifully long. The waist has two pleats that flare outwards, providing both a three-dimensional feel and ease of movement.

By continuously researching traditional garment-making techniques in tailoring and workwear, we extract the "human element" inherent in these methods, pursuing a form of garment creation that can be called "re-creation" rather than mere "reproduction." In other words, garments that interact with the modern wearer's body and environment in a unique way.
All MotivMfg products are produced by a small team at our own facility in Beijing. Combining skilled craftsmen with unique equipment, we create garments that merge tailored three-dimensional silhouettes that conform to the human body with industrial sewing details. This is something difficult to achieve in large-scale industrial production.
