This piece reimagines a workwear staple with a twist. The main fabric is made from cotton and silk twisted together. This creates a light and supple texture, as well as a smooth and pleasant feel against the skin. Another major appeal is the depth of expression characteristic of "salt and pepper" fabric, woven from twisted yarns of different colors.

In terms of design, the two elaborately constructed chest pockets are striking. This detail is inspired by a rare French military work jacket. Furthermore, the back features a three-dimensional pattern design with ample room at the sleeve base. By gathering the hem, it creates a dramatic, wing-like silhouette that expands with movement.

All MotivMfg products are produced by a small team at our own facility in Beijing. By combining skilled artisans with unique equipment, we create garments that fuse tailored three-dimensional silhouettes that conform to the human body with industrial sewing details. This is difficult to achieve with large-scale industrial production.
