《MAISON EUREKA》
MAISON means "house" in French, and EUREKA means "inspiration" in ancient Greek.
The brand concept is "what is created by inspiration
in the designer's home and studio."
The brand develops items inspired within Maison Eureka, without being limited to specific categories.
Designer Yurika Nakatsu worked as a buyer assistant at a select shop from 2002,
then moved to England in 2005. While living in London, she backpacked across various European countries,
developing her unique worldview by experiencing fashion and culture in different nations.
After returning to Japan, she worked as a buyer at a select shop and became a designer for a shoe brand in 2009.
In 2011, she moved back to England.
Later, she resonated with Berlin's unique underground yet creative culture and lifestyle, which she encountered during a trip,
and moved to Berlin in 2013.
She proposes items that all women, regardless of genre or generation, can wear effortlessly.
