A necklace made with Czech pressed glass beads and waxed cotton thread.
This technique has long been used by manufacturers in the Czech Republic and was also used in many fashion jewelry pieces in the 1950s, as well as in French fashion accessories.
The fittings and clasp are made of sterling silver.
Each glass bead is knotted together one by one.
Each piece is handmade by designer Cecile at her atelier near Paris.

Sisi Joia is a colorful and unique handmade jewelry brand founded by designer Cecile Wallon, combining carefully selected vintage French glass beads from various locations near Paris or blown glass parts made from recycled glass by Syrian glass artisans using traditional techniques, with cords such as silk.
After moving near a flea market in Paris, Cecile Wallon met a merchant of precious vintage beads and became fascinated by them, leading her to launch Sisi Joia in 2019.
All pieces are handmade one by one in her atelier near Paris, with color and component combinations conceived bydesigner Cecile.
Cecile's creations embody a playful spirit for adults.
From colorful and playful pieces to chic and sophisticated ones, her collections are designed to complement the individuality of the wearer.
