ABOUT
For 10 years, I continued to make clothes while considering how women live in Tokyo and Paris, and PHOTOCOPIEU is the answer to that.
Identity is a quiet revolution.
While I don't have a feminist consciousness, I have felt stress regarding the challenges my close female friends face in balancing work and family, and the structure of society. I have wondered if there's a more comfortable way to live.
PHOTOCOPIEU's clothing is a culmination of all my experiences over 10 years, both professionally and personally.
I've used my creative power, cultivated over time, to create clothing for a more comfortable daily life rather than for fleeting moments like shows or photos.
Find a new you while blending into everyday life.
The empathy for the flexible and strong women I encountered in Paris gave birth to Photocopieu's clothing, which coexists feminine silhouettes and a strong presence.
While meticulously eliminating superficial embellishments, the lines of the cut created with a human touch,
and the organic forms that reveal and conceal the female body, evoke strong emotions in both the wearer and the observer.
Everyday wear that blends into daily life yet features impressive silhouettes and pursues comfort,
will gradually become an essential tool for life, embodying the wearer's individuality.
