The pieces feature traditional sewing techniques such as jacket interfacing, silk-cord buttonholes, hand-stitched collars and cuffs, French seams, and flat-felled seams. By combining tailor-derived three-dimensional cutting with functional structures like workwear gussets, the brand achieves a sophisticated aesthetic and a comfortable fit.
Every piece is meticulously handcrafted in their Lyon studio, from pattern making and cutting to final assembly. Eschewing industrial production, the work is centered around simple equipment and a single lockstitch sewing machine, allowing the artisan's skill to shine through. Committed to small-batch production using traditional fabrics, the garments are designed with generous seam allowances to allow for future size adjustments and alterations, aiming to create timeless clothing that can be cherished for years to come.
