Mame Kurogouchi "ARIMATSU SHIBORI OMBRE DYED SILK SHIRT DRESS"

Regular price ¥181,500

A silk shirt dress incorporating various techniques, such as Arimatsu tie-dyeing and sudare-shibori (bamboo blind tie-dyeing) created by wrapping the fabric around bamboo screens.
On the silk habutae fabric, a stripe pattern reminiscent of bamboo reeds is expressed through tie-dyeing. The base sudare-shibori is created by covering the fabric with a bamboo screen and securing it before dyeing, producing a soft, uneven effect, with pleating and tatsumaki-shibori (tornado tie-dyeing) added to give depth to the texture.
Featuring cuffs that widen toward the sleeves, this shirtdress gently fits the body, updating your daily life with a touch of glamour.
