This vest is inspired by 1960s Austrian military ski jackets. It features a contrasting design with a stretchy quilted back and a clean, padded front. The back is designed to be wider to ensure a greater range of motion forward, and the shoulder line, with an additional 3cm of allowance, creates a cocoon silhouette that gently envelops the body. The pockets feature mid-century style zipper pullers, creating a cohesive design down to the smallest details.

It uses a satin weave fabric with hemp for the lining and silk for the outer material. The hemp provides a sturdy structure, while the silk adds an elegant, deep luster. Furthermore, by quilting felted silk onto a lightweight and stretchy base fabric, a delicate feather-like pattern is expressed. This results in a highly functional and expressive material that combines breathability, heat retention, and comfortable stretch.

All MotivMfg products are produced by a small production team at their own facility in Beijing. By combining skilled craftsmen with unique equipment, they create garments that merge the three-dimensional silhouette of tailored clothing, conforming to the human body, with industrial sewing details. This is difficult to achieve in large-scale industrial production.
