The project is being carried out by Laurent Rousseau and Cyril Mayet, who are based in Chartres, a city in central France.
Laurent is a talented director who has worked with many creators in the advertising industry.
Meanwhile, Cyril, a talented designer, has worked in a wide range of fields, including editorial and interior design.
Cyril has a deep knowledge of vintage items, and his favorite lampshades were made in Scandinavia in the 1950s and 1960s, with string wrapped around a wooden frame.
The familiar and simple look is attractive, but it is a little too pastoral for modern spaces and lacks freshness. Is it possible to find a new design direction while retaining the essence of vintage?
It all began when Laurent, a longtime friend of Cyril's, saw him repeatedly prototyping various shapes with his own hands and asked him, "Could this be developed into an actual product?"
