[40%OFF] PHOTOCOPIEU "BELTED TOP(AILE) BEIGE ⅹ BROWN STRIPE

Regular price ¥29,040

A ventilated sleeveless top with large openings at the chest and armholes.
There is a large river flowing next to the factory, and the water is drawn in from that river to make dough.
The simple cotton seersucker material features a lamé weft thread that gives the impression of a sparkling water surface being reflected.
I felt a real sense of being alive, as nature and life are closely intertwined.
We recommend styling it as a set with pants made of the same material, or layering it with a cut-and-sew dress.

[STORY]
The image of Japanese materials comes to mind: plain weave cotton woven with stiff, thick threads.
Far from being flexible, the fabric is rough and durable, highly breathable and moisture-wicking, and there are few similar materials available in Europe.
The weather is dry compared to Japan, so you don't want the air to escape.
Nishiwaki is known as a production area that produces many of these uniquely Japanese fabrics.
Nowadays, there are many different types of threads and looms, so it's not just the old image, but I wanted to try making something using European methods and fabric that is perfect for the Japanese summer.
A large river flows through one of the factories in Nishiwaki, and the water is drawn in from that river to make dough.
Nature and life are so closely intertwined that it gave me a real sense of being alive.
The sparkling surface of the water is reflected on the rustic cotton seersucker material.

ABOUT
I was inspired by the resilient and strong women I met in Paris.
Photocopiu's clothing was born, combining a feminine silhouette with a strong presence.
While superficial decoration has been boldly eliminated, the transitional lines created by the warmth of the hand and the organic forms that hint at the female body evoke heated emotions in both the wearer and the viewer.
These everyday clothes, which have striking silhouettes and are comfortable to wear while still blending into your daily life, will gradually become necessary tools for a lifestyle that embodies your individuality.
