1917 is located in Aarhus, Denmark
A fragrance created in collaboration with the museum "Kunsthal Aarhus" established in 1917.
A modern interpretation of the classic "Chypre" fragrance.
Chypre is a scent system based on oak moss, patchouli, and bergamot.
It is derived from Cyprus (Cyprus Island) in the Mediterranean Sea, which is said to have produced perfumed oils since BC.
1917 was also the year Coty released a perfume called “Chypre de Coty” which gained popularity.
Since then, chypre has been established as one of the scent systems.
Aarhus is an industrial and cultural center facing the sea.
