The Multiple Day series is inspired by the kimonos of Shimura Fukumi, one of Japan's leading dyeing artists, and designer Tsukasaki Eriko paints her images in watercolors and then expresses them through dyeing.
The dress has a seemingly simple silhouette that highlights the beauty of the dye, but when worn it has a lovely couture-like voluminous sleeves.
We arrange all kinds of traditional techniques such as tube dyeing, basket dyeing, and board tightening.
They are mixed together and hand dyed one by one.
The gradation created by the exquisite mixing of colors is beautiful, and each piece is unique.
