Blundstone
In 1870, Brandstone was established in Hobart, the largest city on the island of Tasmania, which is rich in nature in the southeastern part of Australia.
The founder, John Blandstone, started as a company importing shoes with his son, and eventually began to produce original boots using locally produced leather.
Brand Stone will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2020.
During World War II, 500,000 pairs of boots were supplied to the Australian army.
Based on that experience, after the war, we started manufacturing robust and highly reliable work boots and opened up a new market.
