Style can't be mass-produced...
The design art studio "The Inouye Brothers" was founded in 2004 by two Japanese brothers, Satoshi Inoue and Kiyoshi Inoue, who were born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark.
They call their designs "Scandinasian", born from a love of Japanese delicacy and Scandinavian simplicity.
In 2015, they met Julien Colombier, a French artist based in Paris.
Like-minded, they quickly hit it off and became close friends.
With a background in street art, Julien has always preferred to stay away from the mainstream.
Except for one thing, like Parisians, they love coffee and cigarettes.
His work, which is characterized by using colorful pastels on a black canvas, is full of originality and inspiration.
However, what attracted the Inoue brothers more than anything else was the freshness of their style.
In recent years, the Inoue Brothers have sought to explore their Japanese roots within themselves by creating new forms of Japanese folk art.
Among them, I met Mr. Yusuke Kido of Kagoshima's ceramic brand "ONE KILN CERAMICS".
In his works, which mix traditional techniques and minimal design concepts, the pottery culture of his hometown of Kyushu was sublime.
A collection that uses a glaze that fuses Sakurajima's black ash, one of Kido's representative techniques.
When they saw the natural color, Inoue Brothers had a flash of inspiration to use the beautiful porcelain as a canvas to fuse with Julian's colorful artwork.
"Made in Kagoshima" first collaboration production was born in this way.

Satoshi was born in 1978 and Kiyoshi was born in 1980. Both were born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. They call the designs born out of the love for Japanese delicacy and Scandinavian simplicity, which are the hallmarks of The Inoue Brothers, "Scandinasian" designs. Satoshi is a graphic designer based in Copenhagen, and Kiyoshi is a hair designer based in London. Most of the income earned there is spent on the activities of "The Inoue Brothers".

《Julien Colombier》
Born in Paris in 1972. The atelier and residence are still in Paris, France. Julian began drawing at the age of two and his debut exhibition as an artist was in 1993. In 2007 Julien launched the style "chalk on blackboard", which was recognized in the high-level art scene of Paris. This style stems from the graffiti and skateboarding culture that influenced him the most in his youth. It is the origin of the style of crepas on the modern black canvas. He was noticed as a new style artist in Paris and was approached by Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld, and his first collaboration with Chanel was introduced in 2011. Since then, he has collaborated with various brands such as crystal brands Baccarat, Converse, Maison Pierre Frey, Cartier, Bulgary, and Diptyque. All Julien's art is inspired by nature, plants, or graphic shapes, and is powerfully expressed with a mix of delicacy and vivid colors.

One Kiln is a pottery workshop based in Kagoshima with the meaning of "one kiln".
Yusuke Kido, a ceramic artist, studied products and interiors comprehensively at a design school in Tokyo. Launch ONE KILN.
At first, in search of originality, we developed the “ASH series” using volcanic ash from Sakurajima as a glaze, and started handling it inside and outside the prefecture. It will be an opportunity for you to enjoy interacting with people through manufacturing.
Next, I turned my attention to Bonotsu, my hometown. Located at the southwesternmost tip of the Satsuma Peninsula, this town has a mild climate, faces the beautiful sea, and is blessed with fertile soil from mountain springs and sea breezes. . The “CULTIVATE series” was born using the clay of Bonotsu.
Taking this opportunity, the relationship with creators active in other fields in Japan and abroad deepened, and the idea of ​​​​transmitting and expressing to the world from Kagoshima was born. In addition, the ONE KILN logo "MADE IN KAGOSHIMA" has a new meaning of "connecting Kagoshima and the world".
The "fire" lit in one small kiln spreads more and more, changing society positively.
While maintaining such an image, I continue to create with the desire to fill the “Friendship Store” with things that I have worked on in a free and creative environment with friends I can trust from the bottom of my heart.
