This technique has long been used by manufacturers in the Czech Republic and was also employed in many fashion jewelry pieces from the 1950s and French fashion accessories.
The findings and clasp are made of sterling silver.
Each glass bead is individually knotted and assembled.
Each piece is handmade by designer Cecile at her atelier near Paris.

Sisi Joia is a colorful and unique handmade jewelry brand that combines French vintage glass beads carefully selected from various locations near Paris, or blown glass parts made from recycled glass using traditional techniques by glass artisans from Syria, with cords made of silk and other materials.
Designer Cecile Wallon started Sisi Joia in 2019 after moving near a flea market in Paris, where she met a precious vintage bead merchant and became fascinated by vintage beads.
All pieces are handmade one by one by designer Cecile at her atelier near Paris, with color combinations and component pairings conceived by her.
Cecile's creations embody an adult's playful spirit.
The collection offers a range of styles, from colorful and playful pieces to chic and sophisticated ones, designed to complement the individuality of the wearer.
