Necklace made with Czech pressed glass beads and waxed cotton thread.
This technique has long been used only by established manufacturers in the Czech Republic, and was also used in many fashion jewelry pieces in the 1950s and in French fashion accessories.
The metal fittings and clasp are made of sterling silver.
Each glass bead is assembled with a knot.
Each piece is handmade by designer Cecile in her atelier near Paris.

"Sisi Joia" is a colorful and unique handmade jewelry brand that combines vintage French glass beads carefully selected from various locations near Paris, or blown glass parts made from recycled glass using traditional techniques by Syrian glass artisans, with cords such as silk.
Designer Cecile Wallon moved near a flea market in Paris, where she met a valuable vintage bead dealer and became captivated by vintage beads. She started Sisi Joia in 2019.
All pieces are handmade in her atelier near Paris,with color and part combinations conceived by designer Cecile.
What Cecile expresses is a playful spirit for adults.
Collections range from colorful and playful pieces to chic and sophisticated ones, designed to complement the individuality of the wearer.
