Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. She spent much of her childhood in Taiwan, cultivating an ethnic sensibility, and later moved to Los Angeles during her adolescence, where she was strongly influenced by modernism and vintage aesthetics.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She collaborates with Japanese jewelry artisans to create uncompromising jewelry.
