Based on the concept of being close to our daily lives, we created a deep blue glass lamp with Yoshiaki Kojiro, a glass sculptor.
Colors, textures and shapes delicately expressed in glass. It is a memory of various emotions and thoughts, and the moments when the heart moves with each small event in everyday life.
In this work, glass colored by reaction with copper powder is placed in a heat-resistant gypsum mold and fired. By adopting unique methods for coloring and firing, the thickness of the layered body like a stratum and the glossy surface are beautifully finished.
The rough surface of the Japanese cotton material and the ivory color of the lampshade create a beautiful contrast with the deep blue glass.
A clear blue that clears the chaos of the mind. We hope you will enjoy your daily life with the lamp.

glass artist. Born in 1968. Graduated from Tokyo University of Science Graduate School of Science and Engineering Department of Architecture. Engaged in architectural design for 6 years at Gendai Planning Institute Co., Ltd. Established an atelier in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture in 2012 after working at the Tokyo Glass Art Institute and the Kanazawa Ushiyama Craft Studio. Based on his interest in the relationship between materials and people, he explores fundamental harmony through production that focuses on the firing process of glass. Received the International Glass Exhibition Kanazawa 2004 Grand Prize, Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2017 Special Jury Prize, etc. Collections include the V&A Museum, the Modern Pinakothek, the Corning Museum of Glass, and the Toyama Glass Art Museum.
