【QBISM】
A unique fashion vision rooted in the tradition of craftsmanship and the innovation of upcycling.

Established in Paris, France, in 2013, QBISM is a brand by designer Quentin Nghiem. Its name, a fusion of the initial "Q" and the art movement "Cubisme," reflects a philosophy of fragmented beauty and reconstructed identity.

With over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Quentin's journey is marked by craftsmanship, innovation, and a deep respect for materials. After graduating from a haute couture program in Paris in 1994, he gained diverse experience, including working at HERMÈS' tailor atelier, serving as atelier chief and pattern assistant at Jean Colonna, and contributing to Comme des Garçons' fragrance packaging concept at Christian Astuguevieille. Subsequently, he participated in designing collections for MUJI Europe and creating runway pieces for Louis Vuitton Homme. However, the experience that most defined his career was his involvement from 2005 to 2007 in Maison Martin Margiela's Artisanal "0-10" men's line, a period when the founder Martin himself was still involved.

Infusing this rich heritage into QBISM, the brand embodies his unique codes: hybridization, deconstruction, trompe-l'œil, patchwork, material fusion, and creative reuse. Each collection is produced in small quantities with artisanal precision, promoting upcycling and the reinterpretation of vintage items. The scope of reconstruction is diverse, ranging from denim, sportswear, bomber jackets, workwear, to military items.

QBISM is more than just a brand; it is a manifesto. While each season brings new challenges, Quentin's approach emphasizes "evolution" over "reinvention." He refines past ideas and pushes concepts further, creating timeless pieces that remain fresh and relevant across generations.
