PHOTOCOPIEU "ZIP-UP SKIRT / HALDANA / IVORY"

Regular price ₩475,000

A zip-up skirt made from original damask jacquard fabric.
The designs of 18th-century antique fabrics encountered in the 18th arrondissement of Paris have been reconstructed using modern materials.
Using rayon, which did not exist at the time, as the warp thread and cotton as the weft thread, a medium-weight fabric with a satin-like sheen and matte texture was woven in Kiryu.
The skirt itself is composed of four identical panels.
By applying the puckering technique used in the sleeves of the MA-1 jacket, it creates a voluminous, three-dimensional silhouette.
Due to its design, the zipper can be worn in any position: front, back, left, or right.

ABOUT
Ten years spent creating clothes in Tokyo and Paris while contemplating women's lifestyles, and PHOTOCOPIEU as the answer to that reflection.
Identity is a quiet revolution.
I don't consider myself a feminist, but I've been feeling stressed by the difficulties women around me face in balancing work and family life, and by the way society is structured, and I've been thinking about whether there's a way to live more comfortably.
PHOTOCOPIEU's apparel embodies all of my experiences from the past 10 years, both professionally and personally.
Rather than using my creative skills for fleeting moments like shows or photographs, I used them to make everyday life more comfortable.
Immerse yourself in your daily life and discover a different version of yourself.

Inspired by the resilient yet strong attitudes of the women she encountered in Paris, Photocopieu's clothing was born, combining feminine silhouettes with a powerful presence.
While cleanly removing superficial embellishments, the lines of the transitions are created with the warmth of human touch.
The organic forms, which subtly reveal the female form, ignite emotions in both those who wear them and those who see them.
Everyday wear that blends seamlessly into daily life while maintaining an impressive silhouette and prioritizing comfort,
It will gradually become an essential tool for a life that embodies that person's individuality.
