A unisex blouson with a front zip-up.
While retaining the details of the British Air Force flight jacket MK3, superfluous details were stripped away and the sizing adjusted to create a relaxed, nonchalant look.
The underarm gusset pattern that allows for easier arm movement, the Velcro cuffs, and the drawstring hem are details inherited from flight jackets.
The fabric used is a plain weave mohair wool woven in Bishu.
The natural gaps between the thick threads create a mesh-like transparency within the solid fabric.
The crispness and elasticity achieved by blending mohair are ideal for expressing three-dimensional garments, resulting in a look that combines suppleness and presence.

ABOUT
Inspired by the supple and strong women she encountered in Paris,
PHOTOCUPIEU's clothing was born, combining feminine silhouettes with a strong presence.
While superficial embellishments are boldly removed, the lines of the cut created with a handcrafted warmth,
and the organic forms that subtly reveal the female body,
ignite emotions in both the wearer and the observer.
Everyday wear that blends into daily life yet creates an impressive silhouette,
and pursues comfort,
will gradually become an essential tool for embodying one's individuality.

Misa Takeuchi
After four years of experience as a corporate designer in Tokyo,
she moved to France after winning an award at the Kobe Fashion Contest.
She graduated from Paris Syndicale and gained design experience at Isabel Marant and Veronique Leroy,
before establishing her own brand, PHOTOCUPIEU, in Autumn/Winter 2019.
