A brand launched by Mitsuru Takasu in 1997.
The brand name "mando" is named after the designer.
Influenced by Yves Saint Laurent and Renoma of the 1970s, the clothes he creates are based on traditional tailoring techniques and are relaxing, yet somehow elegant and intellectual in feel.
One of mando's specialties is its expertise in special dyeing processes and special techniques for compressing fabric.
