Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up surrounded by nature. She spent much of her childhood in Taiwan, which cultivated an ethnic sensibility, and her move to Los Angeles during adolescence strongly influenced her with modernism and vintage aesthetics.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates uncompromising jewelry in collaboration with Japanese jewelry artisans.
