Born in Gunma Prefecture to a Taiwanese mother and a Japanese father, she grew up with nature. The ethnic sensibility she cultivated during her childhood spent largely in Taiwan and the strong influence of modernism and vintage styles from her teenage years after moving to Los Angeles are evident in her work.
Established R.ALAGAN in 2016.
She creates jewelry without compromise, working with Japanese jewelry artisans.
