"COOHEM"
COOHEM is a coined word derived from "Kouhen" and started in 2010 AUTUMN & WINTER as a factory brand of Yonetomi Seni Co., Ltd., a long-established knit manufacturer in Yamagata Prefecture.
“Kouhen” refers to the technique of combining multiple materials with different shapes and knitting them to create a completely new material. expresses A fusion of programming that requires advanced analysis and creation that combines colors and materials.
And veterans who have both technology and experience and young people with rich sensibility and imagination. The expression and comfort are better, newer, brighter and fancy. From a rare factory where all processes are completed in one place, we are transmitting Japanese manufacturing culture to the world.

Spent up to high school in Yamagata, one of Japan's leading knit production areas. After graduating, studied marketing, design and fabric at a vocational school.
After that, after working as a staff member at a select shop, in 2007, he joined Yonetomi Seni Co., Ltd., a long-established family knit manufacturer that also handles OEM business with many famous domestic brands, and was involved in the planning and development of knit textiles. In 2010, he launched his own brand, COOHEM, in pursuit of the infinite possibilities of the material called knit tweed, focusing on a number of vintage textiles that have been independently developed over its long history.
In 2016, he won the TOKYO FASHION AWARD. Since 2015, he has been promoting the evolution of Japanese factory brands both in Japan and overseas as a representative of Yonetomi Seni.
