OLIVER CHURCH "SOFT SHIRT / ANTIQUE KELSCH PATCHWORK / RED PLAID CHECK"
An OLIVER CHURCH shirt from Paris.
The garment is made using precious fabric woven over 100 years ago in the Alsace region on the border between France and Germany.
Any areas where fabric is missing are patched up, and any areas that need repair are carefully repaired.
The buttons are shell buttons and the buttonholes are all hand sewn.
This is a piece that really shows OLIVER CHURCH's attitude towards clothing design.

[OLIVER CHURCH]
Based in Paris Oliver Church is a designer from New Zealand.
After gaining experience working for various brands in London and Paris, he now has a small atelier in a corner of Paris.
Oliver himself carries out most of the steps in making the clothes, with collars and buttonholes sewn by hand.
The fabrics used are mainly deadstock made in France that are 50 to 120 years old, and the buttons and other items are old items purchased from flea markets and vintage dealers.
Oliver's clothes are carefully made one by one over a long period of time, and while they incorporate a modern sensibility, they also exude the scent of clothing from the good old days.
