Gorsch the merry coachman "Italian Collar Short Sleeve Shirt / Cotton Linen Slab Cloth / CLAY"

Regular price ₩303,000

This season's theme is Suzuki Morihisa Kobo, a long-established Nanbu ironware shop. Along with this, I was also inspired by photographs related to steel manufacturing in books about industrial manufacturing sites in Germany, where designer Suzuki used to live.

This item was created with workwear in mind, so I think the design source was a photo of a German steel manufacturer.

The stitching is double layered on the front edge, collar, and armholes.

All thread colors are unified, and the black color in particular allows you to enjoy stitch work even more. Also, the light cream color has the color name "URUSHI". It is probably inspired by the lacquer used to create Nambu ironware.

It is slightly larger due to the lowered neckline. The chest area is slightly open, so I wear a tank top inside when taking photos, but if you don't mind, you can wear it against your bare skin in midsummer.

Also, the hem is distinctive. The curve from the front to the back is strong, and the silhouette from the side is impressive.

《Gorsch the seamster / Gorsch the merry coachman》
The story of an apprentice tailor named Gauche.
One day, I found an old treadle sewing machine, some tailoring tools, and three jackets in the attic.
Ghosh learns that his late grandfather was a tailor.
He envisioned his grandfather's work, which turned into admiration, and he began to follow the same path.
Although his skills are still immature, he has not only improved his tailoring skills, but also moved to various countries and experienced different cultures.
I work hard to create things that are typical of Gauche, just as I feel.
Thinking about your hometown and someday making things there,
He is honing his skills every day in some corner of the world, thinking that people from various countries can enjoy "Gorsch".
